Categories/Subcategories
Each category can have unlimited number of subcategories.
Only subcategories can contain products. In the config file you can set the number of products
that will be shown on the page.
Vendors
AbraCart can support an unlimited number of vendors
with different pricing structures and handling fees per vendor as well as different
shipping calculators. To date AbraCart is the only shop cart with this unique feature.
Currency Converter
Converts the currency from US dollars to Euro, etc.
Search
Search a category, products on item number, product description, product category,
price range. Each section of the website needs to only find the items in
that section. If a reseller is looking for an item he should only be
able to find that item in the reseller section of the site, not in
the dropship section or the web area.
Importing a price list
You can import a price list online. Convert the price to CVS format then
chose a vendor from the accessible and upload the price.
The imported fields are:
item number, name, full description, short description, price, price
break, weight, retail price, lot (in case lot), instock, options (can
be color or size).
Browser based control panel
Change anything at any time via
your browser or bulk loading for offline maintenance. Edit, add or delete
any record while shop is running. All changes are instantaneously reflected.
Bulk import product changes or use supplied browser mass update. Full browser
based configuration from any browser including Unix, Windows or Macintosh.
Fully Customizable
All pages are template driven. See the descriptions on template list in
/doc/templ_edit.
